Kingshurst Primary School is a nurturing and inclusive community, enabling children to
aspire to be the best they can be.
Every day, we live The Kingshurst Way!
Our three values shape how we learn, how we treat each other and how we behave, in every classroom and every space in school. Children and adults use the same words, so everyone knows what is expected and why it matters.

Every day, every space, everybody
We speak kindly and listen to others
We use calm, respectful words and actions
We keep everyone and everything safe
We respect everyone's right to learn

Try, learn, grow
We keep trying, even when it's difficult
We learn from our mistakes without giving up
We ask for help and manage our feelings safely
We bounce back and move forward positively

Aim high, work hard, dream big
We set goals and work hard to achieve them
We take pride in our learning and our school
We celebrate the success of others and believe we can grow
We make positive choices and arrive ready to learn
Children hear our values every day, in lessons, in assemblies and on the playground. When a child makes a great choice, we name the value behind it. When things go wrong, we use the same language to help them put it right.
British Values
We actively promote the fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. These are woven through our curriculum, assemblies and school life.
